The chair Building Acoustics focus on education and research in the field of room acoustics, building acoustics and urban acoustics. An important task lies in inspiring students in acoustics to become broadly oriented architects or skilled specialists. Besides that, the strong relationships with industry, architects and consultants will be maintained and expanded.
Besides being active as a professor at the university, Renz van Luxemburg will stay director of his company Level Acoustics, which successfully runs already for almost four year in cooperation with the university. Also, he will stay leading professional at DHV, working on various inspiring projects with architects like O.M.A.
